Something quite unbelievable happened today. Rage Against The Machine have toppled the constant X-Factor number one with Killing In The Name. Scott Mills from BBC’s Radio 1 counted down the chart and revealed the victory. RATM now promise a free open air gig to thank everyone in the UK for supporting them and getting them to number. Below you can listen to that magical moment once more from Radio 1. All audio is copyright to the BBC.
Below you can listen to the announcement and the phone call with Tom.

This is something that will not be forgotten, Rage Against The Machine being Xmas number one is a triumph for all music fans. It’s ironic how well Killing In The Name fits the purpose of this campaign. See you at the gig!
My name is Benjamin Reid, I live in the UK and keep the magic locked into this site.

Yes, i was surprised at this considering X-factor usually dominates the Christmas charts.

There are - or were some wonderful old “Ghost Towns” in Idaho - off the Yankee Fork and up off Anderson Lake. Up off the Yankee Fork was the old dredge they had used to dredge the gold out of the river - ruined the river - and when the gold ran out they left it where it stopped. Silver City was another old town up there. Some of the old towns are on “private” land now so you can’t go back to them. It was always interestin-g to see that the people left everything - just walked out in some cases - furniture - not much - but what they had - was still there - dust covered - waiting for someone to return - perhaps they do.buy Tera gold
