A while back, a very good friend of mine (@EmmaWebsdale) was in the process of putting her first novel together named Alluro (which she’s now drawing towards finishing up!). I just couldn’t resist offering to conjure up a website together for her to help promote the book. I knew it would give me the chance [...]
I found this ’springy’ text effect in the footer of the Desandro website and wanted to find out for myself how it had been accomplished. Anyway after a bit off CSS-ing around I’ve come up with this using the text-shadow property and some positioning techniques.
I coded up this clean WordPress theme for @callumchapman (it was designed by Callum) to give him his first customised theme for his blog, exclusive to Circlebox Creative. The theme includes a customised author page, this displays their profile along with their posts.

Illusions Haidressing is the front for a Cambridge based hairdresser offering professional mobile hairdressing. I used WordPress for the back end of the site so that all copy can edited, images changed and the jQuery galleries added to.
The website is designed to have a very clean look while still en-compassing a nice professional style.

Surrounding yourself in new pieces of work you like can bring on a whole new aspect to your design. It can make you want to learn something new, push you to better yourself and ultimately help to fuel [...]
